Discretion has been part of East Side Club since 1976. This policy explains what personal information we collect at the Club and on eastsideclubnyc.com, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
What we collect at the Club
To issue a membership we record your name, date of birth and membership number, and verify your government-issued photo ID. We keep a record of your visits and the space you used so we can apply the correct rates and overtime.
What we collect online
This website does not require an account. Like most sites, it may record basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, using cookies or analytics tools. If you contact us, we keep the message and your contact details.
Why we use it
To confirm you are 18 or older, manage your membership, process payments, keep the Club safe, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use your information for advertising.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Club (for example payment processing), and with authorities when the law requires it.
Discretion
Staff will never confirm to anyone whether you are a member or have visited. We do not contact you in any way that identifies the Club unless you have asked us to.
How long we keep it
We keep membership records while your membership is active and for a limited period after, as required for accounting and legal purposes. After that they are deleted.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted when we are no longer required to keep it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the one that applies.
