These terms apply to everyone who enters East Side Club, 227 East 56th Street, New York, NY 10022 ("the Club"), and to anyone using eastsideclubnyc.com. By becoming a member or entering the Club you agree to them.
Membership
Entry is for members only. Membership is available at the front desk as a temporary membership or a one-year membership. Current prices are listed on the Rates section of this website.
Membership is personal and cannot be shared or transferred. A lost card can be reissued for a fee.
Age and identification
You must be 18 or older to enter. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at every visit. The Club may refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide it.
Rates, time and overtime
Each visit covers a set block of time for your locker or room. Time beyond that block is charged hourly at the overtime rate for your space. Rates may change without notice; the prices shown at the front desk apply.
Payments are non-refundable once your key has been issued.
Conduct
Respect other guests and staff at all times. No means no, and consent is required for every interaction.
Harassment, violence, discrimination, theft, and the use or sale of illegal drugs are not tolerated. Guests who break these rules will be asked to leave without refund and may lose their membership.
Privacy and photography
Discretion is the foundation of the Club. Photography, filming and audio recording are prohibited anywhere inside. Do not share the identity of anyone you meet here.
Health and safety
Look after your own health and the health of others. Practise safer sex.
Do not enter the sauna or steam room if you are unwell, intoxicated, or have a condition that heat may affect. Follow staff instructions in an emergency.
Lockers and valuables
Keep your key with you and lock your locker or room when you leave it. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Leave valuables at home where possible.
Right of admission
The Club may refuse entry or ask any guest to leave at its discretion, in particular to protect the safety and comfort of other guests.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the one that applies.
